Description

The Strong-Drive® SDWS™ Timber screw is specifically designed for structural wood-to-wood/wood-to-EWP connections, including ledgers, and is also ideal for a wide variety of projects where a high-strength attachment is needed. Its partially threaded shank and aggressive thread pattern pull members tight. This structural fastener has a patented SawTooth® point and mid-shaft knurls that provide faster starts and less driving torque. With these features, this 0.315″ thread outer diameter (0.220″ shank diameter) fastener is easy to drive and its corrosion-resistant coating makes it suitable for many interior and exterior installations. With lengths ranging from 3″ to 16″ and with superior load ratings, the SDWS Timber Screw is the ideal solution for a variety of structural fastener applications. Now available in tan and black double-barrier exterior grade coating. We’ve extended the black coated products to include 12″, 14″ and 16″ lengths.
